Soon we are going to have summer holiday, which means a lot of late evenings, beach parties, garden-parties and dates? So of course you need that mysterious evening look to all your special evenings.
This Friday my dance partner (Katrine) and I are going to this dance season-ending, which means: MAKEUP, HAIRSTYLES AND DRESSES - YAY! (I’m gonna make a blog-post about how the results were) We talked a lot about how our makeup should look like, and we ended up deciding that we should have some kind of smokey-eye look, because I’ve got a new dress (yay again!), so I created this Smokey-eye look. I wanted it to look mysterious buts still kind of ‘’naturally’’ – That’s why I used a brown base! I also think that, when a lot of girls try to do the ‘’smokey-eye look’’, they only use black and white! According to me = that is a ‘NO GO’! Don’t ever only use 2 colours (well.. not only black and white!) when you do your smokey-eyes!

But enough talk, lets get started!
Step 1. Use A LOT of maxcara, I mean.. really! - you have to over do it, like you never have over done it before! (well. of curse you can use false eyelashes, but according to me, that is only something you can do if you are going to a big party, new years evening etc)
(Mascara from Rimmel- Day 2 Night)
Step 2. use an eyeliner all over over your eyelid from the one side to the other side.
(Liquid eyeliner from H&M - Dipliner)
Step 3. Put on your eye-primer so the eye shadow better can stick to your eyelid! (you only have to use 1/2 drop of eye primer) - use it all over the eyelid
(eye-primer from 'Makeup Store')
Step 4. Highlight your eyebrow with a white eye-shadow - you can also highlight your inner-corner of the eye, but I have chosen not to to that this time
(4-coloured eyeshadow from H&M)
Step 5. Put on a very light brown base all over your eye lid except where you have highlighted
(4-coloured eyeshadow from Rimmel)
Step 6. Now you are goint to put on the last colour, this is a very beautiful eye shadow I've got from 'Makeup store'. you have to put a line over your eyelid, in the side (which turn to your ears) blend the colour out, so the line becomes thinner and thinner as you get to your noes! -That's how you'll get the smokey-look.
(Eyeshadow from 'Makeup store' - blurry)
Step 7. Use the same dark colour under your eyes, to make the look more mysterious, and to frame your eyes.
Step 8. If you want to frame your eyes and make them even more mysterious, you can use a black eyeliner in your waterline- that gives a good effect especially if you want people there are standing a bit far away shall notice your eyes. - I use an eyeliner from L'ORÉL PARIS called 'Eye designer' This eyeliner is one of the best I've ever had!
(Eyeliner from L´ORÉAL paris)
And you are done!
Because I'm going to use this makeup for the dance, I have pepped the look up a bit with some glitter!
- The glitter is just something I've bought in a hobby store! (Glitter from a hobby-store, and eye-primer from 'Makeup store')
I hope you liked it.
xoxo- Emilie
