A great and light summerlook

A couple of weeks ago, I went to my favourite makeup store ‘’Makeup Store’’ I was in panic, I needed a NEW colour to my eyes, cause I’ve become a bit tired of the makeup I’ve been wearing the last year, SO I told the makeup-artist in ‘’Makeup Store’’ that I needed something ‘yummy to my eyes!’ and of course she came up with 10 different colours.. I ended up, buying 2 very pretty colours (Nox & Blurry ) ‘Nox’ is very summerish, and ‘Blurry’ is good if you want to look mysterious and maybe make Smokey-eyes! ( I’ve made a tutorial for smokey eyes called ‘’ smokey eyes for the summer evenings) But to end my story- I came home, and I didn’t know how to wear the colour, and I didn’t know which colours I should blend with it etc. BUT I ended up with this very light summer look -you can wear it on the beach, if you are going to a picnic, etc.

Let’s get started!

Step 1.
Put on mascara, it’s you who decide how dominant you want your eyes to be
('Volume million lashes'- from L'oréal Paris)

Step 2.
Put on eyeliner from the corner of your eye to the other side (if you want your makeup to look even lighter, skip the eyeliner!)
 ('Dipliner' from H&M)

Step 3
.
Now take your eyeprimer and put all over your eyelid- This is so the eyeshadow sticks better to your eyelid!
 (eyeprimer from 'Makeup store')

Step 4.
Take a white (or just a light eyeshadow) and highlight your eyebrows – you can also highlight the corner of your eyes!
(4-coloured eyeshadow from H&M)

Step 5.
Put on the ‘Nox’ eyeshadow on the rest of your eyelid
(Pink/gold eyeshadow ('Nox') -from 'Makuep store')

Step 6
To frame your eyes you can put the ‘Nox’ under your eyes

Step 7
A little trick!- When it begins to get dark, and you want to make your eyes a bit mysterious – put on an eyeliner on your waterline, I’ve chosen to use a brown eyeliner because then you won’t make your eyes to dark. You know, they are still light, but a bit mysterious- perfect for the beach!
(Brown eyeliner from 'Hot makeup')

And you are done!

I hope you liked it

The end of the this dance-season + my new dress

Oh wow, what a day! Have been dancing from 13-22 ( But of course I have had a lot of breaks)  well well.. I loooove it! The results for the evening was okay, got a 1. Place with Katrine (In Latin American dances –Cha cha cha, samba, rumba and jive ) But I don’t think that the judge liked my way to do hip hop! But, never mind! My new dress was perfect, and it worked perfectly with my body – so, YAY! The makeup we (Katrine and I) had, was the summer smokey eyes from my latest entry. + a lot of GLITTER!
Ehm.. Just a few pictures from the evening and of course a little video! Good weekend to all of you
J (P.S. Gonna make a new makeup tutorial for a summer-look during the week)

The dress… It started with a thought, then I designed it, and maked a sketch.

I had the sketch a looong time before I really decided that I wanted to sew it. But then! suddenly I couldn't fit any of my latin-dresses, so I had to make a new one! So last weekend I went to my grandma's place, and we sew the dress - tonight I inaugurated it.

The result!

(The Hip hop clothe I wore to the competition tonight
-I've had also borrowed a denim-vest from Katrine)

(the makeup- It's the smokey eyes from ''smoke-eyes for the summer evenings''  )

(just a little video- Cha cha cha, Cha cha cha (again) Samba, Rumba, and the last dance is Jive)

(Katrine and I after the competitions)

Smokey eyes for the summer evenings

Soon we are going to have summer holiday, which means a lot of late evenings, beach parties, garden-parties and dates? So of course you need that mysterious evening look to all your special evenings.
This Friday my dance partner (Katrine) and I are going to this dance season-ending, which means: MAKEUP, HAIRSTYLES AND DRESSES - YAY! (I’m gonna make a blog-post about how the results were) We talked a lot about how our makeup should look like, and we ended up deciding that we should have some kind of smokey-eye look, because I’ve got a new dress (yay again!), so I created this Smokey-eye look. I wanted it to look mysterious buts still kind of ‘’naturally’’ – That’s why I used a brown base! I also think that, when a lot of girls try to do the ‘’smokey-eye look’’, they only use black and white! According to me = that is a ‘NO GO’! Don’t ever only use 2 colours (well.. not only black and white!) when you do your smokey-eyes!

But enough talk, lets get started!

Step 1. Use A LOT of maxcara, I mean.. really! - you have to over do it, like you never have over done it before! (well. of curse you can use false eyelashes, but according to me, that is only something you can do if you are going to a big party, new years evening etc)
(Mascara from Rimmel- Day 2 Night)

Step 2. use an eyeliner all over over your eyelid from the one side to the other side.
(Liquid eyeliner from H&M - Dipliner)

Step 3. Put on your eye-primer so the eye shadow better can stick to your eyelid! (you only have to use 1/2 drop of eye primer) - use it all over the eyelid
(eye-primer from 'Makeup Store')

Step 4. Highlight your eyebrow with a white eye-shadow - you can also highlight your inner-corner of the eye, but I have chosen not to to that this time
 (4-coloured eyeshadow from H&M)

Step 5. Put on a very light brown base all over your eye lid except where you have highlighted
 (4-coloured eyeshadow from Rimmel)

Step 6. Now you are goint to put on the last colour, this is a very beautiful eye shadow I've got from 'Makeup store'. you have to put a  line over your eyelid, in the side (which turn to your ears) blend the colour out, so the line becomes thinner and thinner as you get to your noes! -That's how you'll get the smokey-look.
(Eyeshadow from 'Makeup store' - blurry)

Step 7. Use the same dark colour under your eyes, to make the look more mysterious, and to frame your eyes.

Step 8. If you want to frame your eyes and make them even more mysterious, you can use a black eyeliner in your waterline- that gives a good effect especially if you want people there are standing a bit far away shall notice your eyes. - I use an eyeliner from L'ORÉL PARIS called 'Eye designer' This eyeliner is one of the best I've ever had!
(Eyeliner from L´ORÉAL paris)

And you are done!

Because I'm going to use this makeup for the dance, I have pepped the look up a bit with some glitter!
- The glitter is just something I've bought in a hobby store!
(Glitter from a hobby-store, and eye-primer from 'Makeup store')

I hope you liked it.

Choko Chok Cupcakes

This was actually a recipe I got from a Friend (-thank you Desire!) And I just love it! – in 9. Grade we had a cake-day each Friday! So one student at a time, we switch to make a cake, and share it with each other. Desire (a girl name in Danish!) baked these very delicious cupcakes, and shared them with our class. Now I want to share the recipe with you guys (I’ve got permission from Desire!)

All you have to use for 12 muffin is:
100 gram. Flour
25 gram. cocoa
150 gram. sugar
1 teaspoon. Vanilla sugar
1 ½ teaspoon. Baking powder
50 gram soft butter
125 millilitre milk
1 egg
12 pieces muffin forms.

(the ingredients)

Put all the dry ingredients in a bowl (It’s a good idea to filter the ingredients, that will make the cupcakes more light)

Add the butter, and mix it together so it looks like grate-cheese.

Now add half of the milk and stir until there is no more lumps!

After that you add the rest of the milk so your dough is smooth

Fill up half your cupcake forms

Put them in the oven on 75o (20-25 min.)

Check them with a stick or a fork to see if  they are ready, if there are dough on the stick/fork when you pull it up from the cupcakes – then they aren’t ready!

Cool down the cupcakes

Chocolate Icing

Now make the icing.( you don’t have to make chocolate icing, that is just what I think is delicious!)

250 gram. Icing sugar
25 gram. cocoa
75 gram soft butter
about 3 tablespoon milk.
(The Icing ingredients

Mix Icing sugar and cocoa, and add the butter so it looks like grate-cheese.

Stir it together (slowly) and add the milk one bit at a time – stir it together for 5 min!
If it ends up looking like this.. Add some more milk (but be careful, only add one tablespoon at a time!)

If it looks like this, you’ve done well!

Now put the icing on the cupcakes and you are done!

I hope you guys like it :)
